The written test was held for the post of Assistant Professor Geography (BPS-18) in the College Education Department, Government of Sindh. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their qualifying status through the merit lists released by the commission.
General Merit Results and Passing Marks
The notification includes merit lists for both Rural and Urban areas across male and female categories. The cut-off passing marks, referred to as datum marks, are as follows:
- General Merit (Male): Rural: 36, Urban: 48
- General Merit (Female): Urban: 40
Instructions for Successful Candidates
Candidates who have successfully passed the written test are required to submit attested copies of specific documents to the office of the Assistant Director (Recruitment-III) within seven (07) days. They must also bring their original documents on the day of the interview.
- Copy of Online Application form (with Applicant’s signature).
- Three Attested Photographs (attested on back side).
- C.N.I.C (attested copy).
- Copy of challan (if the payment was made manually).
- Matric Pacca Certificate Showing the Date of Birth (attested copy).
- Intermediate Pass Certificate from Board (attested copy).
- Ph.D. / M.Phil. in the relevant subject from a HEC recognized University with 05 years teaching experience in recognized Institutions and at least 02 research publications in HEC recognized Institute Journals (attested copy).
- All marks sheet/transcript certificates (attested copy).
- Original copy of No Objection Certificate (For those who are already in Government Service).
- Domicile and P.R.C on Form “D” (attested copy).
- Any other document, educational credential or any experience certificate required as per given advertisement (attested copy).
