Every year millions of students across Pakistan wait for their SSC (Matric) and HSSC (Intermediate) results. The good news is that you no longer need to rush to the board office — most Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) let you check your board result online within minutes. This guide explains the most common ways to do it.
1. Check on the Official Board Website
The most reliable way to check your board result online is your own board’s official website. Each board — for example BISE Lahore, BISE Karachi (BSEK/BIEK) or FBISE — publishes results on its own site. Open the official website of the board you are registered with, go to the “Results” section, enter your roll number, and submit to view your marks.
2. Check Your Result by SMS
Many boards offer an SMS service on result day. You usually send your roll number to a short code announced by the board, and you receive your result in a reply message. Always confirm the exact code from the official source before result day.
3. Search by Roll Number or Name
On most portals you search using your roll number, which is the fastest method. Some boards also allow searching by name or by school/college. Keep your roll number slip handy.
Tips for Result Day
- Use the official board website only — avoid unofficial links that may show wrong information.
- Result servers can be slow due to heavy traffic on announcement day. If a page does not load, wait a few minutes and try again.
- The official mark sheet / gazette issued by the board is the final document.
- If you think there is a mistake in your marks, you can usually apply for rechecking before the board’s deadline.
Once results are announced, we publish direct result links and updates for boards across Pakistan so you can reach the right page quickly.
